Zero Film Festival offers a unique screening opportunity for filmmakers seeking exposure in near impossible to crack cinema markets in New York, London, Los Angeles, Toronto and Miami. For our experimenters, visual artists and animators, we offer distribution through our Shorts Compilation set to be distributed by Lowave. We host amazing bands for our fun after party events and foster an authentic international film community.
Due to overwhelming requests, we are now proud to offer an Early Notice + Written Review option, under which we guarantee filmmakers will be contacted by our programming jury within 2 weeks of receipt of their screener with our programming decision and a professionally crafted written review. This allows filmmakers the option of creating a re-cut or enjoying a jump on their promotional campaign.
We ask each entering filmmaker to write us a cover letter explaining their experiences during filming and the personal reasons for creating a film. This way we can better understand why you made your film, and preview it accordingly. Yes, we actually watch your entire film. Multiple times. Please don't tell us your budget, we know it is ZERO.
